A movie from 1988 starring Melanie Griffith, Sigourney Weaver, and Harrison Ford. Melanie's character is a secretary on Wall Street with idea's and smarts well above that of her secretary position. Her boss, Sigourney Weaver, has an accident and Melanie takes advantage of that to take her idea's to the corporate bigwigs with them thinking she is her boss. Funny and a good watch. In HD!

This often convoluted mess is beautifully shot by director Alan Parker (The Commitments, Mississippi Burning), but in the end it just doesn't make much sense. Mickey Rourke is at his smoldering best as PI Harry Angel who's hired by creepy Louis Cypher (Robert De Niro) to track down a missing singer, Johnny Favorite. Bodies pile up along the way and Harry meets a naked, chicken slaughtering Lisa Bonet, who used this flick to break her Cosby Show good-girl image. It worked, and got her booted off to "A Different World" as well. A lot of people like this flick, so it's hard to rate it down, but sorry, I'm not one of those people. If you want to see Rourke's best work, go buy Sin City on DVD.

Inside Out was a curious member of the late-night cable TV circuit. Produced by Playboy enterprises in the early 1990's, the series of 15-minute erotic vignettes gave many future big name talents their first shot at writing and directing including Alexander Payne (Election, About Schmidt) and Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Tears of the Sun).

In Some Guys Have All the Luck, mistaken assumptions clear the way for unlikely romance when a woman requests a male friend to take her place meeting a penpal. Instead of doing it himself, he in turn asks another friend who finds a seriously hot Elizabeth Whitcraft (billed as Liza Whitcraft) lying in wait.
