Outstanding cast and acting, outstanding sound track, and an excellent story highlight this 2004 drama.

The plots are too numerous to detail here; this is an ensemble piece about a group of very diverse strangers whose lives nevertheless touch one another.

The prevailing theme is racism, but no one group is spared. In fact, the movie shows just about every race imaginable discriminating in some form against every other. This movie has no real heroes.

Although the story is not especially pleasant, it is hard-hitting and very well done. A must-see movie. Now available on Blu-ray!

CBS reinvented its post-Letterman Late, Late Show in 2005 with Scotsman Craig Ferguson as host. Ferguson is probably best known as Drew Carey's boss, Mr. Wick, from 'The Drew Carey Show', but he's got a wry sense of humour and seems to have a bizarre touch with his interviews. Ferguson is somewhat awkward, but hopefully with time he'll get comfortable with some time.

A lush Roman villa is the setting for this erotic and emotional love story from "Last Tango in Paris" director Bernardo Bertolucci. A reclusive British musician (David Thewlis) is irresistibly drawn to the African medical student (Thandie Newton) who works as his housekeeper, but what she asks of him to prove his love for her could mean the end of their future together. 95 min.

Harrowing and darkly funny look at two Detroit drug addicts (Tupac Shakur and Tim Roth) who decide to go into detox after their friend overdoses and her life remains in danger. Up-and-coming actor Jon Bon Jovi gives a wickedly seductive performance in this compelling drama as an American stage actor in London who is asked by an English playwright to woo his wife, so that the writer can continue an affair of his own.
