Emmy Rossum Biography
Emmy Rossum started out her career as a soap star in As the World Turns, and although she had many acting roles afterwards, she did not become noticed until her role as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. In the same year she performed in Phantom of the Opera she also appeared in The Day After Tomorrow, which I watched several times, and I never even picked up on her. But, when she starred in Shameless, her life changed forever. Emmy Rossum is now a woman that everyone knows and we all love her as Fiona Gallagher. Phantom of the Opera may have gotten her a Golden Globe nomination, but Shameless made her. She has studied at Stanford University, Columbia University, and has appeared in 26 Operas. This is one very diverse and talented lady who has extremely impressive acting talents.
