The Hollywood Foriegn Press hands out their annual awards for film and television every Janaury in a ceremony which many consider a good precurser for the Oscars. Partially due to the fact that drinks are provided, the Globes, boradcast from the Beverly Hilton hotel, tends to be a looser, more fun ceremony that the Academy Awards. This year's winners included Teri Hatcher, Natalie Portman and Jamie Foxx.
