Nude Celebs: Ann Todd - Not long before he helped create the b-movie-panning and cult phenomenon Mystery Science Theater 3000, director Jim Mallon (and music man Kevin Murphy, the voice of MST3K's Tom Servo) brought to life this goofy 80's horror picture about a killer fishing hook. No really. A fishing hook that kills.

If it's a parody, it's pretty straight-faced, which makes this foolish little movie all the more priceless. Set during a fishing contest on a small backwoods lake, finisng the murderous culprit is made all the more diificult by all of the participants using the same kind of fish hook. Victims are aplenty and the gore effects are suprisingly well-rendered, but what's probably most shocking about Blood Hook is that it's a pretty watchable flick thanks to some amiable performances by the actors and interesting character work by the screenwriters. Also, if you're into Musky fishing, then you'll probably fall for the picture hook, line and sinker.
