Featured Actress: Paige Turner - An astonishingly bad softcore movie, Caress of the Vampire delivers about 40 minutes worth of faux girl-on-girl action surrounded by a lame plot. What little story there is concerns a bad girl vampire that makes a move on her neighbor while clueless cops supposedly fill out a subplot about prior murders by the vamp. As far as the ladies go, Darien Price is appropriately cast as the raven-haired lady vampire and her looks make the seas worth sailing. Same goes for Price’s partner, Jessica English (who has also been credited in several movies as Paige Turner?). Turner is a vet of various Seduction Cinema titles, and quite possibly the finest looking of the host of “actresses” they parade through their movies (with the exception of Katie Price /Jordan who is scrumpdiliuptious.) As the leading lady, however, Paulina Monet seems terribly uncaring about her part and while her prodigious… erhm… attributes are cause for attention, they alone can’t act as flotation devices for a movie that’s so dead in the water.
The DVD comes saddled with the even worse, in-name-only sequel.
