PURCHASE THE DVD: Close To Home (2005)

Prosecutor Annabeth Chase (Jennifer Finnigan) is a single mom who's trying to juggle family and work -- which is prosecuting subruban scumbags. Already shows have covered soccer mom prostititutes and a man who keeps his family locked in the house. It's a very run of the mill crime drama and not done nearly as well as other shows like the Law & Orders and CSIs. The only memorable thing about this show is it's star, Finnigan, who's got an angelic face and the acting chops to be in a better show than this.
