In this new series from Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, Echo (Eliza Dushku) is one of a series of people who's minds are blanked and then reprogammed for missions. These people can be anyone the client wants to be, from a hostage negotiator to a sex kitten. In this first episode, Echo takes on the personality of a hostage negotiator to save a kidnapped girl. It has Whedon's trademark snappy patter, but the plot is pretty standard.
