Nude Celebs: Morgana Rae - Sometimes the only thing missing from making a bad movie good is money. Drive In, mind you, would never be a great movie – it’s a fairly routine slasher flick. But the kernal idea is good, and with some bucks, this could have been a fun way to spend an hour-and-a-half instead of the somewhat grueling task it is in its current form. The premise finds an abused kid that grew up across the street from a drive-in theater where hack-and-slash Troma flicks play nightly getting loose and committing all manner of bloody mayhem in the drive-in. The usual host of ho-hum cardboard teens populate the murderer’s dance card and the movie appears as though it was shot through a sock. At night. In a black out.

It’s possible that with a little bit more money and time, Drive In could have afforded a few more drafts of the screenplay, been shot better and perhaps been cast with more talented actors and actresses. Instead, it’s a C-grade movie that desperately wants to be a B . At least Morgana Rae keeps things a bit more interesting…
