Featured Actress: Helen Mirren - Oscar winning director John Boorman somehow made a crap version of the King Arthur legend. It's bad, bad, bad, full of early 80's excess and lots of shiny armour and special effects. How Nigel Terry, who played the idiot John in The Lion In Winter, got to be cast as King Arthur is beyond me. And Nicol Williamson turns in a performance as Merlin that's so over the top it belongs in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. At least he seemed to be having fun. On the plus side, Boorman's daughter, Katrine, gets very naked and she's pretty damned hot and Cheri Lunghi makes a good looking Guenevere, but she doesn't get nearly naked enough.
