Nude Celebs: Patricia Arquette - Understated performances, interesting casting and confident direction highlight this sexy tale of deception and intrigue that’s a single plot-twist away from throwing in the kitchen sink. Don Johnson is an organ player for a church who is having a tawdry affair with his brother Dermot Mulroney’s wife, Patricia Arquette. But no one is who they actually say they are, including Johnson’s secondary love interest Mary-Louise Parker. When Mulroney discovers his wife’s infidelity, things take one shocking turn after another.
Expect an ever-upping number of diverting plot-lines, and sudden exits from high profile cast members. Additionally, know there’s a great deal of truly inhumane backstabbing on display here. For a movie that’s so beautifully shot and stars such gorgeous actors, this flick is mired in the very worst the human race has to offer. Still, it’s entertaining through-and-through, with a darkly comic undertone and a cynicism that somehow avoids being alienating.
