Directed and co-written by Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas), this quirky thriller focuses on an English
movie unit's attempts to film a big screen adaptation of the play "The Duchess of Malfi" at a run-down Venetian
hotel. While the Brits are followed by a sleazy documentarian and her helpers, both crews become caught up in a
series of strange occurrences that result in cannibalism, madness and death. Winning ensemble cast includes John
Malkovich, Salma Hayek, Lucy Liu, David Schwimmer, Burt Reynolds, Stefania Rocca, Valeria Golino, Chiara
Mastroianni, Laura Morante, Valentina Cervi, Mia Maestro, and Saffron Burrows.
