PURCHASE THE DVD: House IV (1992)

This bizarre, continuity-blasting sequel to the cult classic horror flick House, finds William Katt reprising his role as Roger Cobb, the beleaguered owner of an inherited haunted home. Only this time, his wife and child from the original movie have been replaced by a new wife and daughter. And he now has a foster brother. And he dies in a car accident leaving his widowed wife and now-paralyzed daughter living in this haunted house which has been targeted, for some inexplicable reason, as a future dump site for radioactive waste.

Bizarre? Yes. Dumb? Of course. But if you want to see a talking pizza and a shower that sprays blood instead of water, then you have come to the right place. Those seeking out this nigh-impossible-to-find movie for a glimpse at Alien Nation’s Ms. Terri Treas starkers will be somewhat displeased. The aforementioned blood-shower scene shows a woman’s chest, but it is that of nude double Dawn Humphreys. Treas, however, does have a nice moment in a see-through jogging bra while watching random home movies projected by a possessed movie projector! Beyond that, this is a horrible sequel to a series that doesn’t even have a real third entry - this was supposed to be House 3 but the name was changed when another movie called The Horror Show was in Europe and Australia as House 3.
