Inside Out was a curious member of the late-night cable TV circuit. Produced by Playboy enterprises in the early 1990’s, the series of 15-minute erotic vignettes gave many future big name talents their first shot at writing and directing including Alexander Payne (Election, About Schmidt) and Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Tears of the Sun).

In The Houseguest, a grieving woman, years into a breakup with her fiancee, transfers her feelings of loss onto a streetperson with mild mental underdevelopment who she believes is her ex. Directed by Alexander Payne, it stars Marilyn Hassett in the lead role.
