Nude Celebs: Sharon Kane - Inside Out was a curious member of the late-night cable TV circuit. Produced by Playboy enterprises in the early 1990’s, the series of 15-minute erotic vignettes gave many future big name talents their first shot at writing and directing including Alexander Payne (Election, About Schmidt) and Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Tears of the Sun).
A&E Biography director Adam Friedman helms this humorous entry in the series, one of several from the fourth season (and from the series in total) that features an adult film star as the lead female character. Starring Sharon Kane , Video Mate tells the simple tale of a lonely schlub who wishes the gal from the porno he rented was real - only to have her come to life. He soon learns getting what you wish for isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
