Featured Actress: Toni Collette - This excellent 2003 Australian drama starts out as a love story, but about halfway through, turns into something else. A female geologist takes a visiting Japanese businessman on a tour of the desert to see mining areas. Unfortunately, they hate one another, at least at first. Then, romance blooms.
What happens next turns this film into an excellent drama, with an absolutely outstanding acting job turned in by Toni Collette. While I won't reveal the ending, I will highly recommend the movie. It is very slow paced, but still watchable and intriguing, with a gripping ending.
