PURCHASE THE DVD: Josie and the Pussycats (2001)
Terrible live action version of the Archies comic and 70's cartoon. Rachel Leigh Cook, Tara Reid and Rosario Dawson are the girls and they try gamely, Reid is amusing, but there's just nothing there. The music is pretty good (Kay Hanley did the vocals) and the girls look hot, but still there's nothing to recommend this flick. The saving grace is Alan Cumming, who's great as the band's smarmy manager.
