PURCHASE THE DVD: Joyride (1977)

Four teens (Desi Arnez, Jr., Robert Carradine, Melanie Griffith, Anne Lockhart) flee their boring lives in LA to go on a road trip that leads them to Alaska. The film is crudely shot and none of the characters are believable. This movie would probably be completely forgotten if it weren't for an early appearance by Melanie Griffith's breasts. Melanie was just 20-years-old at the time and it's hard to reconcile this hot young thing with the overly lifted and collagened hag married to Antonio Bandares. Also, it's worth checking out for a couple nude scenes by Anne Lockhart, daughter of Lassie's mom, and a guest star on just about every Glen A. Larson, Stephen J. Cannell TV series of the late 70's and early 80's.
