Nude Celebs: Keira Knightley - Not widely heralded as very good, this 2004 version of the life of King Arthur is an excellent movie; it simply doesn't continue the fairy tale. Instead of prolonging the myth of Camelot, producer Jerry Bruckheimer's version attempts to imagine how it happened, based on actual history.
What you wind up with is an excellent movie about knights and battles, but it isn't your father's King Arthur, to be sure. In this version, Arthur's knights are conscripted by the Romans because they are fierce warriors, and Arthur himself is a Briton who is also a loyal Roman citizen, until he realizes that Rome's intentions are less than honorable.
Since many of the events portrayed are historical fact, you'll learn some interesting history. Just ignore the King Arthur thing, and enjoy a very good action adventure.
Keira Knightley wouldn't have been my choice for Guinevere, but with black hair, she did a very good job as did all the actors.
