A young man's quest to become the world's greatest lover takes an unforeseen twist when he's wrongly convicted of shooting a policeman during a fight with his girlfriend. Released from jail after six years, he's shocked to learn his old flame has married the now-paraplegic ex-cop, and sets out to avenge his imprisonment, in this sizzling and typically offbeat tale from Pedro Almodovar. Liberto Rabal, Francesca Neri star. Four stars excellent.
