Nude Celebs: Stacy Haiduk - This typical offering from Troma Studios looks like it had a budget of about a buck and really the only innovation it tries to bring to the horror genre is to make the killer a carny freak. Luther (Edward Terry) was tramatized as a child when he witnessed a mob of guys kill a carny geek like himself. Watching, he finds he likes it and even develops a taste for blood, which lands him in jail. As the movie opens, Luther is paroled by a well-meaning liberal do-gooder, who doesn't realize that Luther is just as fucked up as ever and now has nice new metal teeth with which to do his work. He lands at a farmhose occupied by a woman and her daughter Beth (Stacy Haiduk), both of whom he terrorizes. Luther's chuckle is creepy, but that doesn't make this piece of trash worth watching, although Haiduk's heavely handfuls almost make it so. I can't even fathom who the target audience for this thing was. By 1990, even the least discriminating horror fan had higher standards than this.
