Nude Celebs: Barbara Horan - Seriously deficient as a comedy, Malibu Bikini Shop's only value as a piece of trashy cinema is the time it spends oogling some nice looking ladies in various states of beach and boudoir-ready undress. Unfortunately, there's WAY more of the former to see than the latter, so the movie is more for fans of 80's models/b-actresses than for fans of screen nudity.

That said, Malibu Bikini Shop is cheesy enough for a fun beer and pizza night, with laughable choreography and lame that comes at its jokes expense and not at their supposed comedic value. The story revolves around a guy who inherits a bikini shop from his late aunt and he and his wild best friends' attempts to keep the place afloat in the face of several buy-outs, the most menacing of which comes from his own fianceé's father! The usual broad-comedy shenanigans and slapstick ensue, and all is handled innocently enough.

While many of the actresses have rather limited resumé's, that doesn't mean the eye candy isn't present. As the three sales girls of the shop, Barbara Horan is the big eyebrow raiser, donning a nice wet-t-shirt and going topless in a love scene, while co-stars Galyn Görg and Ami Julius spend almost all of their screen time in bikinis that show off their impressively sculpted figures. Sadly, this is the last movie credit in the career of Allene Simmons, who starred in a few 80's skin flicks, and it's the among the only for several ladies including smoking blonde bikini contestant Christie Jakowpck and fine, cute-faced Hannah who plays a shop customer with a stunning look. While she has many credits in other pictures, this is among African-American model and actress Gretchen Palmer's earliest roles, and here, also as a beauty contestant, she definitely shows she's got plenty of shake to go along with those fries. Meanwhile, the amply endowed Bobbi Pavin gives skin searches some nice looks at her bountiful chesticles, as does an energetic and topless Jeana Loring as the bikini content entrant that goes all the way for pop.

Alas, to most viewers dismay the positively lovely Debra Blee is here reduced to the shrewish role of the nagging fianceé, and her majestic mammaries remained only hinted at for the duration. Missed opportunity? Indeed.

Rounding out the cast are a number of topless and bikini-clad Malibu Bikini Shop Unknowns who parade through quick shots. For the most part, this is PG-13 nudity and for nude cinema completists only.
