For Hollywood agent Jack (Ben Affleck), being at the top of his profession doesn't compensate for a messed-up homelife, so he takes a journal-writing course and commits his insecurities and fears to ink and paper. But when a would-be screenwriter who's been turned down by Jack pilfers the confession-filled tome, his private and public worlds collapse around him. Slyly funny showbiz satire from writer/director Mike Binder also stars Amber Valletta, Rebecca Romijn, Bai Ling, and John Cleese.
