PURCHASE THE DVD: Moonlight (2007)

American TV series about a vampire, Mick St. John (Alex O'Laughlin), who works as a PI in L.A. and falls for an internet reporter (Sophia Miles). Sounds a little like the TV series Angel, doesn't it? Unfortunately, it doesn't have nearly as cool a vibe. Part of the problem is than Aussie import O'Laughlin is sort of blank as a leading man and his voice overs are weak. However, lovely Brit Myles, who was a last minute casting replacement, livens things up. It's watchable, for a completely derivative show. it would never survive a competative time slot, though.
