Featured Actress: Diane Lane - John Cusak and the stunningly beautiful Diane Lane go through the motions as a pair of love-cahllenged singles in their 30’s in this light, fluffy and harmless romantic comedy. While cute, there’s really not much to Must Love Dogs and it cruises through the expected paces with the expected results. Some laughs are earned here and there, mostly in scenes we’ve seen done before in other movies, but it’s fun to watch Lane and Cusak do something so airy and relaxed. An effective time waster, but not much more than that.
