Nude Celebs: Claudia Neidig - Spawning such classic lines as “Look Kids, Big Ben… Parliament!” and “He may pork her, Russ,” National Lampoon’s European Vacation is often tossed-away by critics as a worthless sequel that rehashes much of the ground tread by the original Griswold family outing Vacation. But those who saw it during it’s seemingly endless run on cable TV during the early 90’s mostly all agree, this sequel may be even funnier than the original.
Chevy Chase reprises his role as Clark, the hapless patriarch of the Griswold household, joined by lovely Beverly D’Angelo as his ever-patient wife, Ellen. Winning a tourist dream trip through Europe on a ridiculous gameshow called “Pig in a Poke,” Clark, Ellen and there now teenage kids Rusty and Audrey attack Europe with their shocking yet lovable ignorance. Excellent guest turns are highlighted by Robbie Coltrane as an unsuspecting washroom visitor, Eric Idle as a tortured-yet-very-pleasant Bike Rider, John Astin as the host of “Pig in a Poke” and Claudia Neidig as the lovely German girl Rusty meets during Octoberfest.
This is a must-see for lovers of 1980’s comedies or Chevy Chase fans!
