Featured Actress: Willa Holland - Surprisingly decent fish out of water teen soap about a kid from the wrong side of the tracks (Benjamin McKenzie) who's taken in by a rich family in Ocean County, CA. He immediately falls for the girl next door (Mischa Barton), which just causes him more trouble as he tries to fit in. A highlight for me is Kelly Rowan, who plays the mother figure. She's a total MILF and hopefully she'll have an affair with the guy next door. The O.C. is looking to the a 'Beverly Hills 90210" for the new millenium, but so far it's better written and better acted than that Spelling show ever was, which isn't surprising since the new series is produced by Doug Liman (Go, The Bourne Identity) and McG (Charlie's Angels, 'Fastlane').
