Featured Actress: Danielle Britton - Maxim Media International, (the parent company of schlock horror distributor Brain Damage Films) has committed many, MANY sins against cinema. But as far as their crimes go, Toe Tags is a minor offender. Yes, it’s terrible – filled with atrocious, worse-than-high-school acting, poor direction, a rather shoddy sound mix and awkward editing, but wouldn’t you know it… there’s some good-looking ladies losing their shirts in it, and sometimes that’s just enough to save a flick, especially a shot-on-video shelf-filler like this one.

Cutie lead actress/director Darla Enlow isn’t one of the de-clothed vixens, but she’s a good-humored actress who does a fair job trying to look interested while speaking lines from a screenplay that recalls just about any cliché you can think of. The story is largely a typical slasher flick with new spin: the murderer steals the victims’ toe tags from the morgue. There’s plenty of gore and nudity thrown in here, but minus Enlow’s charisma and the lovely attributes displayed by Alicia Jenkins, Danielle Britton and Deseree Cook who all play murder victims, there’s not much worth noting.
