Nude Celebs: Carole Mackereth - This Showtime movie served as the pilot for a short-lived series which had much more in common with Philip K. Dick's other short story, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", which was turned into Blade Runner, than it does with Total Recall. David Hume (Michael Easton) is a cop in a very Ridley Scott inspired world who solves crimes involving androids with a partner who just happens to be one himself. Even though it's completely derivative, this show could have been good, but the budget looks like it was about $2.75 and it's shot in almost total darkness, I'm sure in an effort to hide that fact. It's no surprise the series that spun off of this only lasted a season.
