The lovely Tanya Roberts is one of a pair of Peace Corps workers on their way home after spending several months in Africa. While on their way out of the country, they pick up a charismatic hitchhiker that, unknown to the girls, is carrying a few kilos of cocaine. Before you know it, there's a military roadblock, a violent confrontation with authorities and suddenly Roberts and her friend are sent to a nightmarish women's prison where the inmates are sexually victimized and made to work in a brothel. Bizarre, alternately laughable and disturbing movie is just absurd enough for good beer-and-pizza night viewing. Also known as Purgatory: The Naked Cell, there's surprisingly little flesh shown as (thankfully) Roberts flashes a little skin, as do co-stars Marie Human and Adrienne Pearce.
