From Movies Unlimited:
Wayward angels Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, exiled in Wisconsin for millennia, discover that a New Jersey church holds the theological key to their getting back into Heaven. Problem is, if they succeed, all of creation will be obliterated. As faith-affirming as it is controversial, Kevin Smith's off-the-wall satire follows a quirky band of crusaders, from abortion clinic worker Linda Fiorentino and "13th apostle" Chris Rock to the ubiquitous Jay and Silent Bob, trying to keep the angels from reaching their goal.
One of the better and more accessable entries in the "View Askew" series. It shows an increased budget for Smith, like the follow-up Jay and Silent Bob Attack, but you can walk right into this film and pick everything up without having seen any of the other films. It's funny and the charges that it's anti-christian are silly. Smith just asks questions and there's nothing wrong with that.
